As a Global Category Manager (Hard Metals), you will be at the forefront of this transformation, playing a crucial role in shaping our supplier base and ensuring we have reliable, capable partners for further development. 

Your Mission 
In this role, you will develop and execute a Global Sourcing Strategy for Hard Materials, including Tungsten, Cobalt, Cemented Carbide, and PCD, ensuring sustainable and ethical practices in sourcing. You'll stay ahead of economic and market trends, advising the business on the best sourcing strategies for your assigned categories. From supplier selection and negotiations to contracting and relationship management, you will ensure that our global suppliers meet our high standards. Collaborating closely with Global R&D, marketing, sales, and local teams, you will implement category and operations strategies, coach local strategic purchasers, and serve as an advisor for this category.

Ensuring key metrics for the procurement function are met, you'll maintain expertise in sustainable sourcing practices and understanding of conflict minerals to comply with regulatory requirements. Driving negotiations and contract management processes will secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers while adhering to trade compliance regulations. Your work will include monitoring market trends, conducting supplier evaluations, and managing supplier relationships to ensure adherence to agreed service levels and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Your Profile 
To excel, you should have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in strategic sourcing or category management within the manufacturing or mining industry, with a focus on HARD and raw materials. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels are essential. You should have knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices, an understanding of conflict minerals regulations, and experience with trade compliance and regulatory requirements. An analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, cost management, and experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary. Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Swedish and Chinese being a plus.

Location and travel

Inbound Replenishment Manager DC Fagersta
We are looking for an Inbound Replenishment Manager – who understands Supply Chain purchasing and order processes, people management and how to deliver excellent customer service. 
Take the opportunity to play a key role in inbound replenishment and bring Supply Chain into the next level regarding service and cooperation between our core business areas, regionally and globally, together creating a fantastic customer experience.
Your mission
As Inbound Replenishment Manager, you will be responsible for daily operations and people management of our Inbound Replenishment team located in Fagersta. This includes a team handling operational purchasing and planning of consumables from suppliers globally, including serving our customers with related information, at GDC/RDC Fagersta.
Your responsibilities include:
* Inbound replenishment management for RDC/GDC Fagersta and for the EMCA region
* People Management
* KPI monitoring
* Ensure effectiveness of operational processes impacting the team performance
* Continuous operational process improvement
* Support regional supply chain projects (functional and cross functional projects) 

In this position, focus is to secure an efficient and customer-oriented replenishment administration, to serve our customers worldwide. Focus will also be on actively working with continuous improvement together with your team members, and we expect you to be motivated by identifying problem areas in related operational processes impacting the team performance, as well as finding and implementing resourceful solutions where needed and monitoring the outcomes.
You will be part of the Regional Order Fulfillment and Inbound Replenishment Management team in EMCA where we together strive for operational excellence through our process-oriented focus and sharing of best practices within our region. We believe there is always a better way!
This position reports to the Regional Order Fulfillment and Inbound Replenishment Manager EMCA.
Location and travel
This position is located in Fagersta, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.

Your mission
In this position, you lead and manage a cross-functional category team and develop efficient strategies for the category within your area of responsibility. An important step in this is developing a strategic supplier base. To achieve this, you handle strategic purchasing decisions, major investments and supplier agreements in alignment with our corporate guidelines. You take responsibility for the whole process – from initiating contact with new suppliers, to negotiating, implementing and following up on contracts. You establish good relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, and lead Supplier Relationship Management activities with strategic suppliers. Measuring and following-up on performance with your designated category is also an important key.


This position is preferably located in Fagersta or Arboga, with the possibility to work remotely from Västerås a couple of days each week. Some travel is part of the job.

By taking charge of your own results and accomplishments, while making sure to share successes and best practices with your team, you also contribute with a high level of team spirit and engagement. Since you act both locally and in a global context, you need fluent skills in both English and Swedish.
