About the job
In this position, your mission is to deliver excellent performance in operations while developing new technologies in close cooperation with our business functions. You’re responsible for developing and implementing an Enterprise IT Road Map that aligns with our organization's vision and strategic plan. An important part of your role is to establish a solid link between Enterprise IT and IT-related improvement projects by making business driven decisions. Your profile
Your background includes a Masters degree in IT, computer science or another technology field, combined with work experience in similar roles in global and complex settings. You’re experienced in driving transformation and change – naturally within IT, but also by running other business-related programs – with the ability to successfully bring a strategy to life. You have deep experience and knowledge of the IT domain and are truly interested in emerging technologies. You’re a confident and inclusive leader, with proven people- and performance management skills and experience in managing global vendors and IT outsourcing activities. As we’re represented worldwide, you have both cultural awareness and excellent communication skills in English.

Arbetsuppgifter

Vi söker dig som har erfarenhet av ledarskap, men inte nödvändigtvis från en formell chefsroll. Har du erfarenhet av IT/OT, projektledning och digital transformation i produktionsmiljö är det ett stort plus.

NVK söker nu en IT-chef som vill vara med och bidra till vår fortsatta utveckling och lönsamhet. För att möta våra nuvarande och framtida IT-behov utifrån drift-, utvecklings-, och digitaliseringsperspektiv söker vi nu dig som kan stärka vår befintliga IT-organisation med ansvar för NVK, Fagersta- och Norbergs Kommuns samlade IT-frågor.

I rollen som IT-chef kommer du att äga, utveckla och samordna förbundet och kommunernas IT-plattform utifrån nuvarande och framtida behov. Målet är att IT ska leda förbundet och likväl kommunerna mot en effektivare vardag och verka för att, genom rätt IT-lösningar, frigöra tid hos chefer och medarbetare.

Ditt ansvar som IT-chef är att säkerställa en stabil drift, support och förvaltning av samtliga IT-system samt ansvara för utveckling och säkerhet av dessa. IT-chefen kommer att vara kravställare mot våra ramavtalspartners. I rollen ingår på sikt även att strategiskt utveckla och effektivisera IT-infrastrukturen för våra verksamheter. För rätt person finns det stora möjligheter att driva flera digitaliseringsinitiativ i syfte att effektivisera våra interna processer.

About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for end-to-end service design, delivery and meeting the stakeholders’ expectations and business’ needs – all while managing the planning, portfolio and roadmaps; prioritizing initiatives, budgets and negotiations with partners and vendors for your area.
You’re working closely with the Director of Application Services and the other Delivery managers to build our future way of working which we have recently started, you also lead two small teams who support the Operations and R&D functions. Furthermore, other duties include:
Gathering of demands and needs, develop, design service delivery model
Keeping information about the service and its’ components up to date
Cooperating and agreeing on deliveries with underpinning supporting services, solutions, functions and processes
Managing requirements for some contracts and negotiations with external suppliers

Leading the teams in their daily deliveries


Your profile
We believe you have a solid understanding of the service life cycle and the ability to communicate and understand complex service deliveries, knowing the importance of evaluating and evolving to create value. You have knowledge of service architecture and can negotiate and review offerings and contracts to have up-to-date agreements ensuring close collaborations with internal and external services. You’re dynamic, collaborative, and curious with previous experience from working in large companies with many stakeholders. Accompanied with in-depth experience of working within operation, preferably leading and working with enhancements within this area.
It’s also qualifying if you have experience working in an agile organization with supporting service delivery in a cross functional environment. Furthermore, we believe that you have:
A relevant degree within the field of IT and/or tech
