Din utmaning
Under sommaren behöver vi förstärkning på flera håll i Fagersta och Norberg. Som vikarie ersätter du ordinarie personal vid ledighet och bidrar till att vi kan fortsätta leverera till våra kunder även under sommaren. Exempel på roller finns främst inom produktion, men även inom stödfunktioner som kvalitet, arbetsmiljö, underhåll, forskning och utveckling samt spedition och lager. Din profil
Vi söker dig som är över 18 år och som studerar eller har avslutat en gymnasieutbildning, högre utbildning eller har relevant yrkeserfarenhet för rollen. Vi samarbetar med Teknikcollege Bergslagen och ser gärna sökanden som går eller har gått något av deras program, men vi välkomnar även andra bakgrunder som kan bidra till vår verksamhet. För semestervikariat inom produktionen är det meriterande om du har utbildning inom verkstad och teknik, truck- eller traverskort samt erfarenhet från verkstadsindustri, operatörsarbete eller montering. För tjänster inom våra stödfunktioner ser vi gärna att du går eller har en eftergymnasial utbildning inom exempelvis produktionsteknik, kvalitet, logistik och materialvetenskap, men även andra inriktningar kan vara aktuella. The role
As Global Demand and Supply Planning Manager, you lead the mid-term planning process (2–18/24 months) and ensure one aligned, data-driven plan across all regions and product groups. You own global demand and supply planning governance, influence decisions that balance service levels and cost efficiency, and guide transformation toward standardized processes. Acting as a connector between Sales, Finance, Product Management, and Procurement, you make sure decisions are transparent and data-driven. You also coach and empower a diverse team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
Shape global planning strategies that align demand, supply, and inventory goals.
Champion transformation and process standardization across regions.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment and lead discussions on trade-offs and capacity constraints.
Coach and develop planners and analysts, strengthening forecasting and planning capabilities.
Anticipate risks, lead scenario planning, and ensure resilience in a dynamic market.

Location and flexibility
The location for this role is flexible, but preferably in Fagersta, Sweden or Pune, India, as the team is primarily based at these sites. Frequent travel to these locations is required, and we offer a hybrid work setup.

About the job
In this position, you create supply plans based on customer requirements, inventory levels, material availability and existing capacity. You balance supply and demand, ensuring that the needed products are produced at our production units and helping us optimize our services, working capitals and costs. To ensure the right supply chain metrics and reliable plans, you work in close contact with our supply network – such as inventory-, demand-, and production planning, new product development and warehousing. This close collaboration also gives you tools to understand and discover potential issues, constraints or bottlenecks that may impact our supply efficiency.
Location
You’re preferably based in Fagersta, Sweden. A flexible position within Sweden can be an option, with frequent visits to Fagersta.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with experience in logistics or supply chain management. If you have a university degree within the field of supply chain, we see that as a big plus. You have a few years’ experience from similar logistics or inventory planning roles where you’ve learned key techniques and methodologies. You’re skilled in Excel and able to present using PowerPoint. Proficiency in Logility Voyager, M3, Power BI and other systems and applications is beneficial. Working in a global organization calls for fluency in English, while knowledge of Swedish or other languages is a plus.
You’re a positive and energetic team player with an eye for detail who believes that the best result comes from collaboration. The role
We're now looking for three Demand Planners to lead mid-term (2–18/24 months) demand planning. Each role is focused on one of our key product areas and includes responsibility for a specific region: Asia, Europe, or the Americas. You manage the process from statistical forecasting to consensus-driven demand forecast. You report to the Global Demand and Supply Planning Manager.
What you’ll do
Lead regional demand planning and act as the first point of contact for Sales.
Lead the global demand planning for your product area, including close collaboration with Product Management on Product Life Cycle consideration (Phase-in/Phase-Out).
Facilitate demand review meetings for efficient decision making in collaboration with S&OP; Lead.
Translate business assumptions, risks, and opportunities into quantified demand scenarios.

About the job
In this position, you’re the primary contact for all matters related to maintenance systems, including functions, reporting and preventive maintenance. You ensure high availability of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) in collaboration with software suppliers, and manage development and improvement initiatives. Join our innovative team this summer and gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of material science. At Seco Tools in Fagersta we’re now offering a summer internship within the R&D Materials Development group.
Background and scope of the project
Composite materials, which consist of a hard ceramic phase, traditionally tungsten carbide, and a ductile metallic binder phase, most often cobalt, are commonly referred to as hard metals or cemented carbides. Cemented carbides are manufactured through a powder metallurgy processing route, which includes wet milling, spray drying, compaction, and sintering.
This summer internship focus on the sintering process where the dimension change is a challenge to get uniform. A uniform dimension change is beneficial for the customers of cutting tool inserts.
Work description
The dimensional change is evaluated by optical measuring and supported by magnetic measurements which both are the main tasks of this summer internship. Also, investigation of hard metal structure could also be needed including sample preparation.
The work will take place in both production and laboratory environment and will primarily be conducted independently.
Student background
For this project, we’re looking for a highly motivated master’s student within the field of Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or similar discipline. Previous experience of lab work such as, experience with sample preparation, basic knowledge of microscopy techniques is meritorious.
Other Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills for report writing and presenting findings.
Proficiency in English.

About the job
In this role, you lead the strategical purchasing activities in the areas of Professional Services, HR & Communications according to our procurement guidelines and metrics. You work closely with stakeholders and business functions – both within our organization and in the broader SMS (Sandvik Machining Solutions) business area – to identify, lead and manage sourcing cases and develop and maintain category strategies.
Further responsibilities include:

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with extensive knowledge in different sourcing models such as managed services within the consultancy area, HR, and communication. You have great business acumen, proven negotiation skills, legal understanding of contracts and a passion for purchasing. A relevant degree, preferably a master’s, in either business, economy or a similar line of education or equivalent practical experience working in a similar role is expected. Since we act in a truly international environment, you need experience from working in a global organization and are proficient in both English and Swedish, in written and verbal form.

Arbetsuppgifter

För att möta våra interna framtida krav inom logistik och planering är du med och leder utvecklingen genom att omsätta teorier till praktiskt gångbara arbetssätt. Du är även ansvarig för vidareutvecklingen av våra interna planeringssystem samt visualiseringsverktyg som vi har på fabriken. Din profil
Vi söker dig med en utbildning inom logistik, supply chain eller planering alternativt har du förvärvat dig liknande kunskap genom arbetslivserfarenhet inom samma område. Du har tidigare jobbat med affärssystem som M3/SAP och du har goda kunskaper i Office 365, framför allt i Excel. Du behöver kunna kommunicera obehindrat på svenska och engelska.

Arbetsuppgifter
I den här rollen driver och koordinerar du både vårt globala hållbarhetsarbete och lokala miljöarbete i Fagersta genom att stötta verksamheten i frågor och lagstiftning. I linje med våra företagsmål sätter du upp mål för Sverige inom vårt område och följer upp eventuella aktiviteter för att nå dessa mål. Som avdelning ansvarar vi gemensamt för uppföljning, utvärdering och rapportering av statistik för arbetsmiljö- och miljömål – både lokalt och globalt – och vi stödjer, underhåller och utvecklar arbetsmiljö och miljödelarna i ledningssystem för våra siter.
Du följer upp och kommunicerar tillämpliga lagstiftningar och krav kring arbetsmiljö och miljö till ansvariga chefer, och summerar, rapporterar och håller övrig kontakt med tillsynsmyndigheter i Sverige. Vidare rapporterar du olyckor och tillbud, samt ansvarar för vårt revisionsprogram, både externt och internt. Att utföra internrevisioner enligt ISO standarder och ta ansvar för att godkänna kemikalier utifrån substitutionsprincipen, EU:s nya kemikaliepolicy REACH och EU-direktivet RoHS ingår också i dina uppgifter. Tillsammans på avdelningen ansvarar vi också för bolagets ERM-arbete och hållbarhet.
För att stötta vår produktion på bästa sätt behöver du vara på plats i Fagersta två-tre dagar i veckan. Övrig tid går bra att jobba hemifrån.
Din profil
Vi söker dig som har en högskoleutbildning inom hållbarhet, produktutveckling eller annat relevant område, kombinerat med kunskap om hur man utför livscykelanalyser. Du har koll på miljölagstiftningen inom EU. Det är meriterande om du har god kännedom om hur man bygger ledningssystem och inom internrevisioner enligt ISO standarder. Du har också god kunskap i Officepaketet, framför allt Excel. Då vi verkar både lokalt och globalt inom koncernen behöver du goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, i både tal och skrift.

About the job
In this position, you manage the sales of products and services to small and medium-sized customers. Arbetsuppgifter
Som projektledare ansvarar du för att planera, övervaka och leverera projekt som involverar förändringar av fabrikslayout, organisatoriska förändringar och andra större förbättringsinitiativ inom ramen för vår produktionsstrategi. Additiv tillverkning, Additive Manufacturing (AM) eller 3D-printning beskrivs ofta som en av framtidens viktigaste tillverkningstekniker. Arbetsuppgifter
I den här rollen ansvarar du för att arbetet kring våra produktionsprocesser flyter på utan bekymmer. Du startar, kör och övervakar maskiner, säkerställer att material är preparerat, påfyllt och att tömning, rengöring, kapning och eventuell efterbehandling utförs efter avslutad 3D-printning. Du löser också eventuella problem som uppkommer och vid behov utför du underhållsarbeten.
Du arbetar som tekniker på Additiv tillverkning, men du har ett aktivt och nära samarbete med vår R&D tekniker, samt med ingenjörer som delar med sig av kunskaper, erfarenheter och löpande stöttar dig i ditt arbete.

Vi söker dig som har en gymnasieutbildning, gärna med en teknisk inriktning, och som tidigare arbetat inom tillverkande industri och har erfarenhet av att bedriva produktion. Om dig

About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for product pricing within Seco Tools, with the goal of establishing both competitive and profitable pricing for our product portfolio. You develop market prices, monitor profitability in individual markets, coordinate pricing and establish key account analyzes. The team consists of a group of six Global Pricing Officers reporting to the Director of Pricing & Profitability, all based in our office in Fagersta, Sweden. På vårt Technical Center arbetar vi med skärteknisk validering av nya produkter inom POI (Product Offer & Innovation) globalt. Arbetsuppgifter
I den här rollen ansvarar du främst för olika uppdrag inom POI. Du utför testvalidering av såväl prototyper som nya produkter och är en viktig del i kedjan när det kommer till nya produktlanseringar. Att hålla dig uppdaterad gällande ny teknik och nyheter på marknaden är en viktig del i ditt jobb. Ha ett övergripande ansvar för en av maskinerna på avdelningen.
Skapa egna CNC-program.

Ansvara över planering och bokning av såväl maskintid som egen tid.
Samarbeta med uppdragsgivare och planera upplägg inför kommande tester. Sammanställa resultat samt presentera dessa på ett professionellt sätt.

Din profil
Vi söker dig med en utbildning inom CNC samt erfarenhet inom skärande bearbetning och NC programmering. Vi ser det som fördelaktigt om du har blått certifikat, kunskap om CAD/CAM och är van att använda Officepaketet. Då vi arbetar i en global miljö är det viktigt att du har goda kunskaper i engelska.
Som person är du strukturerad, flexibel och att lösa problem och hitta förbättringsmöjligheter faller sig naturligt för dig. Du har lätt för att lära dig och utvecklar snabbt ett stort intresse och en bred kunskap inom ditt område. Your mission
As our next user experience designer, you work with many stakeholders, as you develop graphical UI elements for use in our applications and strategic management and run the development of the software suite's graphical profile. About the job
In this position, you manage the CIO Office and lead the cross-functional management of information and technology at Seco Tools. About the job
Your main responsibility includes developing and maintaining our essential enterprise platforms to ensure that they remain up-to-date and continues to meet our organization's needs – coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors, performing upgrades, and integrating new functionality. Our key platforms supporting seamless business flows and great customer experience are our ERP platform (M3), web platform (in-house) as well as Power Platform (Microsoft). Our data and solutions across the organization are also integrated via various IT system integration technologies, those solutions and applications are also in scope for this role.
You create and maintain a roadmap and ensure high data security and integrity within our platforms. You do this by implementing security measures, monitoring breaches and ensuring that the data is backed up and recoverable. To drive strategy execution with respect to people, processes, information, and technology, you continuously monitor the performance and identify areas for improvement. You also manage the budget for the solutions and identify costs, track expenses, and ensure that the solutions are managed within budget and with cost flexibility.
You report to the Vice President of Enterprise IT at Seco Tools and you’re a part of the Seco Tools IT management team. The location for this position is flexible within our footprint and allows for a hybrid working schedule.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience. We put great value in your competence and technical understanding – especially within web platforms and ERP platforms such as M3. You need experience in change management, specifically in a complex and technical organization, as we are going through a transformation of our IT setup to a more business-led one. You show good business acumen, with strong understanding of the business processes and workflows that the ERP system and integration solutions supports – and you know the importance of a well-designed and operated customer platform to ensure great customer experience. Working in a truly global company calls for excellent communication skills in English, verbally and in writing.
You have proven leadership experience – you’re a modern, inclusive, and engaged leader who drive things forward. With a strong belief, competence, and experience to lead through change, you have a vision of how to run a platform and implementation as well as manage the teams. You have a clear leadership style which you balance with your technical understanding – motivating and inspiring others. About the job
In this role, you take an active part in setting the strategic direction for Seco Tools, and you drive overall company improvements and increased efficiency through cross-functional collaboration. Your profile

Tjänsten är baserad i Fagersta med möjlighet till ett flexibelt arbetsschema med distansarbete ett par dagar i veckan.
Din profil
Vi söker dig som har en relevant bakgrund med exempelvis en ekonomi- eller ingenjörsutbildning i bagaget. Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet från arbete i en liknande roll där du jobbat med någon form av beräkningar och i affärssystem som M3 och SAP. Du har goda kunskaper i svenska, både skriftligt och muntligt. Då vi är ett globalt företag så är det ett plus med kunskaper i engelska.

About the job
In this role, you bridge the gap between our customers and business. You own the customer journey and coordinate between functions to ensure a consistent experience across all media and that touchpoints are in alignment with the Seco brand position. You’re accountable for developing the vision and execution plan to meet the future needs of our customers. You set priorities for the customer experience and work with functions and cross-functionally to resolve issues and ensure that each touchpoint across the customer journey is engaging and efficient.
Further responsibilities include:
Driving the digital CX functionality strategy to ensure the internal digital business tools support the company in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Coordinating and leading a cross-functional Customer Experience Council.
Developing and cultivating customer-centric practices across Seco to bring the customer’s voice into daily practice and decision-making throughout the company.
Maintaining a regular cadence of reporting for enterprise visibility, transparency, and progress towards CX targets and objectives.
Serving as customer expert within Seco globally, through deep understanding and capability across core CX tools, such as Voice of Customer surveys, customer observations, behavioral and sentiment data analyses.

This role can be navigated at one of our offices in Europe, specifically in Sweden, England, France, Germany or Italy.

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a university degree in business administration or marketing as well as extensive experience in journey mapping, development of customer experience strategies, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Accompanied with your degree, you have preferably a background in communications. You have organizational and project management skills of higher merit, with the ability to manage projects, budgets and plans as well as to lead and deliver cross-functional initiatives in a matrix environment with a wide range of people at all levels. Considering this, you’re efficient in both written and verbal English.

About the job
In this position, you translate research discoveries into new product ideas to determine their potential to meet customer needs and achieve revenue growth and market share goals. You work both hands-on and on a strategic level, supporting R&D in general, but part of the time focusing on Additive Manufacturing in order to improve material performance and post treatment methods. A key to success in this area is to understand the product requirements for our tools and based on that make smart material choices.
You support in the field of tool body materials with for example:
Analysis, investigations and testing of tool performance and mechanical properties
Material characterization
Development of post- and heat treatment
Setting requirements of existing and new materials
Contacts and collaborations with material suppliers and academia
Evaluation of customer complaints

This position is located in Fagersta, with the majority of the working time on site. Some travelling might be needed occasionally.


Your profile
We’re looking for someone with experience in materials research and a proven competency within Material Science. You have a degree in Material Science and Metallurgy, combined with a few years of working experience in a relevant field, such as materials design, heat treatment of metals, material characterization and mechanical testing – preferably in the area of tools, steels or powder metallurgy. Knowledge of machining (metal cutting) is an advantage. You’re comfortable with leading and driving research projects, even though you will always have access to experienced colleagues for support. Acting locally in a global organization calls for at least basic skills in Swedish and good skills in English, both written and verbal.

About the job
In this position, you create supply plans based on customer requirements, inventory levels, material availability and available capacity. About you

About the job
You will be responsible for product pricing within Seco Tools, with the goal of establishing both competitive and profitable pricing for our product portfolio. You develop market prices, monitor profitability in individual markets, coordinate pricing and establish key account analyzes. This position interfaces between the marketing department and the product lines, as well as between the product manager and sales organization worldwide. Since we act on a global basis, some travel is included in this position.
The team consists of a group of six Global Pricing Officers reporting to Director of Pricing & Profitability, all based in our office in Fagersta, Sweden. While we prefer you being on site, this position also allows for a hybrid working schedule where remote work is possible a few days a week.


Your profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant academic degree who has experience from a strategic position within pricing or equivalent experience from marketing, product line, financial or sales.
