Your mission


As the Regional Business Manager for Europe, you will be responsible for developing the regional business and driving organic growth. Your focus will be on strengthening customer relationships, expanding our market presence, and supporting our Customer Centers (CCs) in reaching their growth ambitions.


This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Vice President Tophammer Solutions, with a dotted line to the Vice President DTH, Rotary, and Raiseboring. You will lead commercial excellence in the region, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution, and promoting our digital and sustainable offerings to become our customers’ preferred partner.


This role provides an opportunity to lead through collaboration and influence across teams, without formal line management responsibilities.





Key responsibilities:


Drive growth by developing and executing a regional commercial strategy aligned with divisional goals.

Collaborate closely with Customer Centers to strengthen customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and ensure effective go-to-market models.

Lead key commercial initiatives and coordinate must-win deals, securing smooth product launches and successful market introductions.

Advance digitalization and e-commerce, working together with cross-functional teams to grow our online channels and digital customer experience.

Ensure operational excellence through collaboration with Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing, optimizing delivery, inventory, and brand visibility.

Promote Safety First and act as a role model for Epiroc’s values — Commitment, Collaboration, and Innovation.

Foster engagement and inclusion, building a culture of trust, continuous learning, and shared success across the region.

About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for identifying, developing, and evaluating new product ideas, enhancing existing products, and translating research discoveries into marketable products. You play a crucial role in leading, planning and tracking all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to market introduction. To ensure that our products’ specifications, performance and pricing are aligned with market demands, you use competitor analysis and strategic oversight of all products in the portfolio.

You work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and communicate our customer value proposition, while maintaining the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle. Additionally, you initiate, define requirements, and sponsor new product development.

Most colleagues are based in Fagersta, Sweden. For this position you could also be located at one of our other main European sites – Guanzate (IT), Erkrath (DE), Alcester (UK) or Bourges (FR).

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. You have several years experience in product management or a similar role within metal cutting. Through your previous work you’ve acquired a good business knowledge of best practices and an understanding of metal cutting and its technology, business and customers. Specific experience in Turning or Grooving & Parting-off is highly valued. You also have knowledge of how the products integrate with others, as well as of their competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. As we act in a global setting you need excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

About the job
Leading our Round Tools department, you have three managers reporting to you, and one of your main responsibilities is to provide strategic oversight for all related product portfolios. This involves ensuring that product specifications, options, and pricing are aligned throughout the line and that the lifecycle perspective is considered – maintaining consistency and coherence across the product offerings. Developing and communicating a clear customer value proposition is also crucial. By monitoring and analyzing the competitive landscape, you stay ahead of the curve and ensure that our products remain competitive and relevant in the market.
Additionally, to ensure that the product line is meeting its financial goals, you analyze and set global targets, monitor performance and correct deviations when necessary. To drive growth and maintain relevance, sponsoring new product development is also crucial. By defining and sizing market segments and conducting GAP analysis, you help to ensure that the product line is addressing the needs of the target market effectively and identify areas for potential growth.
The location for this role is flexible globally and some travel is included. You report to the Vice President of Product Offer and Innovation.
Your profile
We’re looking for a senior leader with high business acumen, experience in strategic and tactical planning and of leading other leaders. You have good skills in stakeholder, project and portfolio management, and a broad understanding and knowledge of the industry and its business. Your experience is backed by a university degree in a relevant field of studies or equivalent work experience. Acting in a global environment calls for fluency in both verbal and written English.
