Your mission
As the Regional Planning Manager, you will oversee strategic inventory management and demand planning within the EMEA region, developing and implementing strategies to achieve availability and inventory targets. You will manage inventory optimization and assortment allocation, ensuring supply and demand is effectively balanced. Collaborating closely with Customer Centers, Production, and Regional Supply Chain teams, you will lead regional planning activities and foster process improvements supporting alignment with global standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set and monitor inventory and availability targets for Customer Centers and Distribution Centers in the region.
* Support and guide the regional planning team and Customer Centers to achieve inventory, availability, and obsolescence targets.
* Build and grow the regional planning organization, including hiring, upskilling, and team development.
* Ensure regional alignment with global processes for assortment and inventory optimization.
* Manage regional assortment allocation, including stocking policy and placement within regional Supply Chain organizations and Distribution Centers.
* Facilitate and ensure adherence to the demand planning process in the region.
Your profile
We are seeking a committed planning professional who brings expertise in change management and process development. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role, as you’ll work with colleagues across functions and regions. Your organized and analytical approach enables you to drive continuous improvement and optimize best practices in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
To excel in this role, you have a university degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, coupled with a solid experience in demand planning and forecasting in a global setting. You bring genuine commitment and expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, including distribution and inventory management, along with a passion for people management and team development. English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Experience in the consumables business within Epiroc or similar organizations is a plus.
Location and travel
This position is located in Fagersta, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
