About the job
In this position, you’re a member of our Seco Business Control team – supporting our CFO, Seco Management Group (SMG) and other key stakeholders with efficient, reliable and proactive financial support and analysis. A key focus area in your work is performance management, and you take an active part in decisions affecting the business: making numbers talk by communicating relevant financial analysis. The work includes analyzing our Divisional reporting, ensuring that the analysis we present is accurate and insightful.
Your daily tasks vary and include monthly and quarterly consolidations with focus on the balance sheet and investments, coordinating the financial planning process as well as being part of global projects and ad-hoc analysis. We strive to find new, digital ways of working to ensure more effective, on-point processes that secures quality and an automated workflow. In this position you have a central role in providing administration support and development of our Finance IT tool Mercur, a system used for financial analysis and planning process – to continuously improve our working methods.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Finance or Business Administration, combined with at least a few years’ working experience – preferably from a global company. You are comfortable working with Excel and other analysis tools, experience working with PowerBI, Mercur and either SAP or BPC is beneficial. You have the ability to create successful networks with our stakeholders. We are a global business, which calls for fluency in English, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.

About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for the financial reporting and consolidation closely connected to our Distribution Center. You’re ensuring quality and accuracy of our overall forecasting processes and performing quality checks of our financial data. In collaboration with the team, you support our managers with relevant financial information that enables clear and accurate decision-making. You also prepare financial reports and are involved in the planning and implementation of our forecast process, as well as our quarterly and monthly executive summaries.


Close collaboration and frequent interaction with other teams within finance, operations, sales & marketing and our product lines is essential to ensure data alignment and best-in-class financial information flows. About you
We want you who have an academic degree within Business, Finance or Accounting, and a few years’ experience from working in the field is very valuable. Your mission
In this position, you work closely with the Vice President of Strategy and Product Management and the product lines, delivering insightful analysis and action-focused performance measurement. You lead the strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting process for the function and the Product Lines, and you support the overall strategic planning and execution of Seco’s strategy. You support the Product Lines to deliver long-term sustainable, profitable growth and return on capital employed by providing financial leadership. In addition, you work closely with the finance team in the division to make sure that a solid financial information flow is in place and is converted into impactful insights for the Product Line teams, for the function, and Seco.
Your role also includes delivering actions for performance measurement and management including KPI development and implementation. You conduct relevant and actionable analysis and to support the Product Line teams in driving a continuous range optimization in terms of profitability, revenue, and complexity, and you drive and support continuous improvement initiatives and cost efficiency management in the function.

In this challenging and exciting mission, you also ensure strong performance management in our various strategy programs as you participate in the shaping and manage follow-up on time, cost, and quality for our key strategic initiatives. In addition, by being actively involved in all major investment requests, you also provide relevant insights as the basis for approval decisions.
Your profile
We're looking for a commercially minded business controller with a relevant university degree. You like to work proactively in a leading position, and as you are agile and flexible, you also enjoy driving improvements and are not afraid of challenging existing ways of working. In addition, you're used to working in Power BI and the Office package, especially Excel, and it's a plus if you're familiar with M3 (ERP).
You're analytical, driven, and have a networking approach towards customers, colleagues, and other partners - and a professional approach with a high degree of integrity. Being reliable and trustworthy, consistently delivering on deadlines. Since we work in a global environment, it's a must to have excellent verbal and written English skills.

As Vice President Controlling & Finance it is your mission to actively support business management within the Tools & Attachments division advising the President and divisional management team in the area of business control from a global perspective. This means ensuring there is quality-assured and timely financial and non-financial data that are used to understand where the division is in relation to targets set, that deviations are analyzed and corrective actions proactively put in place.


You will have a key role in the management team, participate in business development activities, and thereby actively contribute in developing our business in line with our strategy for growth. You will be a member of several legal and operational boards in the admin entities and substantial travelling is required.

You will report to Divisional President and will be based in Fagersta, Sweden.


The role
Your main responsibilities will be:
To have a solid control of the division’s consolidated financial performance, and to make sure that the financial reporting and accounting practices of all entities (Customer Centers, Distribution Centers and Product companies) are fully in line with company policies and procedures as well as local legal rules.
Collect and visualize high quality financial and business information to support the management to take correct strategic business decisions. Performance and ad-hoc analyses of different levels within the Division.


To manage the working capital in the division including:
- taking ownership to strongly reduce all overdue payments via a pro-active approach together with the respective GM’s and VP’s marketing.
- setting up and following up on inventory targets for the division's sales, distribution and product companies.

Follow-up and continuous analysis of the businesses, including participation in business and company review meetings for our Customer Centers and Product Companies.


Actively participate in the Divisional Business Boards by organizing, consolidate the presentation and act as secretary for the meeting.


Secure that trends in the business are well understood, that red flags are highlighted, that action plans are put in place.


Lead the planning process for the Division.


To develop and provide the division management team with tools that provide early warnings when deviating from plan as well as give accurate forecasts. You make sure the importance is understood and followed with discipline avoiding surprises to the highest extent possible.

Actively participate by reviewing the financial evaluation of any upcoming acquisitions in the Division.

Secure that the Epiroc Way is followed.

Initiate and participate in internal audits and have strong focus on having clean external audits and take proper action if any external audit remarks exists for the division's administrative companies.

Manage and develop a professional, highly competent team that operates within a good team spirit.

The position also includes overall Divisional responsibility for IS/IT.

In addition to your responsibilities in the Division, you will also be part of the Epiroc Financial Council. You are in this capacity expected to contribute actively to the development of accounting and business control practices in the whole Group.

Your background
You have a University degree in finance and/or business administration or similar, relevant field. You have extensive experience from business controlling positions in global industrial settings, both from customer centers, distribution centers and product companies in the mining and construction industry.

You are a self-motivated and results-oriented team player, with a genuine interest in all aspects of the business operations. You have experience from successfully leading projects in the area of finance and business control. You have a structured way of working, and an ability to leverage technology in process and procedures. With your excellent communication and inter-personal skills, you are service-minded and have a natural ability to interact with people at all levels in the organization.

Being strategical, but also highly operational, is a pre-requisite for success in this role. As VP, you are expected to be a role model for the organization. You naturally lead by example, and being a true believer of our values you foster an inclusive work environment where people develop and grow to their full potential.

Thorough knowledge and experience of "The Epiroc Way", the Epiroc Consolidation System (ECS), and reporting system is necessary.

Arbetsuppgifter
Som Business Controller ansvarar du för finansiell rapportering och du arbetar med prognoser, analyser, granskning och uppföljning av det övergripande ekonomiska läget för Seco Tools. Du har ett nära samarbete med kollegor inom finansfunktionen och du ansvarar för löpande avstämning med övriga intressenter inom koncernen gällande rapporter och analyser. I den här rollen är du också en viktig finansiell partner till vår globala säljorganisation.
Om dig
Vi söker dig som har en examen inom ekonomi, samt några års arbetslivserfarenhet inom Business Control. Du har god förståelse och erfarenhet av bokslutsprocesser och rapportering inom en global verksamhet. Du är en skicklig användare av Excel och är även van att arbeta i andra ekonomisystem som t.ex. QlikView och Power BI. Dina kunskaper i svenska är mycket goda, både i tal och i skrift, och då vi arbetar i en internationell miljö har du även goda kunskaper i engelska.

About the position
Epiroc Drilling Tools AB is now looking for a Distribution Center (DC) Controller at the head quarter in Fagersta.

In this role, you will play a key role in developing strong control environment for Distribution Center in Fagersta. Your primary responsible is to maintain and develop of the monthly closing and reporting procedures, to ensure high quality in financial and business analysis of operational activities and to participate in the development of business system and other application support for financial control of operations. This is accomplished via rigorous process and data analysis, creation and automation of business system requirements and effective project management. 

In this position you will be a part of the DC Business Controller team, you assist Manager Distribution Center in day-to-day financial control and accounting activities by analyzing business risk and opportunities, assist to conduct financial analysis to improve business profitability and efficiency, in reviewing and developing processes and tools for high standard internal control, to coordinate planning and follow-up of financial outcome. Further, you will review for accuracy, maintain for consistency, and develop for efficiency processes in Distribution Center (product line reporting, time cost accounting, indirect cost accounting, functional cost reporting and inventory management reporting). In this position, you will maintain and develop procedures for calculation and execution of cost allocation and distribution and also Support in process of application for investments and follow-up of effects. 

You will report to Manager Distribution Center.

Requirements
In this position, you need to have a Controller mind set with the vision how to build and maintain the control environment. Corporate reporting will be in line with IFRS and “The Epiroc Way”. We believe you have a Bachelor´s degree (Master´s preferred) in audit and accounting or equivalent. You have three to five years working experience as a controller or chief accountant. 

To be successful in the position you need will efficiently utilize own time, available resources and budget to fulfill the Company strategy. Further, you will demonstrates the professional behavior in action at all times and has a natural instinct of how to act in accordance with this skill. 

Full proficiency in Swedish and English both written and spoken. Preferred knowledge of the following programs is a plus: M3/MOVEX, QlikView, Click&Decide;, ECS/GPS, SAP.
