About the job
In this position, you identify, develop and evaluate new product ideas, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions, and translate research discoveries into usable and marketable milling grades. By evaluating new business ideas and cost-saving measures, you improve and develop processes and procedures to support the product line. You lead, plan and track all phases of the product life cycle, from inception through introduction into the marketplace, including both standard and custom products. You contribute to the development of grade technology platforms, frequently interacting with insert production and collaborating with R&D, production and strategic units to manage grade assortments.
Also included in your job is to:
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities in indexable milling to provide insights on stock levels, demand and supply capabilities.
Offer internal and external guidance and training on milling grades, including first-choice and alternative applications.
Assess market size and customer challenges to formulate customer value propositions.
Create project documentation, including business cases and task descriptions.
Recommend and approve cost-reducing process changes to ensure campaign profitability.
Coordinate with claims and production departments on quality issues.

The location for this position is in Fagersta and travel is a natural part of your job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with extensive practical experience of using products and solving applications problems in the machining or metal cutting industry. Your technical interest and deep understanding of how substrates and coatings affect insert performance are essential. You're able to recommend the best grade based on application, advising sales as well as customers. By understanding the market, you effectively connect technical aspects with customer needs. Working in a global environment calls for excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
You have a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments to drive product success and innovation. Your excellent communication skills enable you to influence stakeholders at all levels and foster collaboration between colleagues and different functions. You’re self-motivated and able to challenge product managers to maintain a healthy portfolio of grades. With a result-driven mindset and a keen attention to details, you make effective decisions to drive successful outcomes.

About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for identifying, developing and evaluating new product ideas, enhancing existing products, and translating research discoveries into marketable products. You play a crucial role in leading, planning and tracking all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to market introduction. To ensure that our products’ specifications, options and pricing are aligned with market demands, you use competitor analysis and strategic oversight of all products in the portfolio.
You work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and communicate the customer value proposition, while maintaining the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle. Additionally, you initiate, define requirements, and sponsor new product development initiatives.
The team is spread globally and for this position we offer a flexible workplace, however it’s preferred that you’re based in Europe.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. You have experience in product management or a similar role within milling. Through your previous work you’ve acquired a business knowledge of best practices and an understanding of metal cutting for milling and its technology, business and customers. You also have knowledge of how the products integrate with others, as well as of their competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. As we act in a global setting you need excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of German is a plus.

Your mission 
As a product specialist for our Rock Drilling Tools you will fill a key role in our strategy to grow our sales of Top Hammer products. You will be working hands on with optimizing our product assortment and its performance as well as having regular customer visits, field tests and value demonstrations. Join our team
In this position you report to the Global Product Portfolio Manager of Rock Drilling Tools and work in an organization with several Global Product Managers of other product lines. We learn from each other through sharing best practices and we help each other as a team. You will work with a manager that embraces freedom with accountability and you will feel empowered to take own decisions to favor our overall efficiencies while also getting support and exchange ideas with when needed.

Your mission 
As Global product manager for Top hammer products you can see yourself as CEO of the product line and your mission is to achieve a sustainable profitable growth of the product line where you grow the market share and your overall operating profit according to our targets. As part of achieving that, you will be responsible of the strategic product roadmap for the whole Top hammer product portfolio where you determine what products should be introduced to the portfolio, improved or discontinued and phased out.

This is a global role where you will collaborate with all markets through the customer centers to fully understand our customers’ needs and translate that need into innovative products to further build and increase our market share. In addition to spending your time with our customer centers and customers, you will work with all other internal functions such as R&D, production and supply chain in order to be successful in reaching your mission.

Another part of growing your product line is to lead your global team of product specialists that reports to you. Together you support and solve technical challenges in the field, conduct product training's, analyze claims and conduct field trials of new products that is in development.

Your profile
The ideal candidate should have experience of the applications and products, meaning you should have worked in a customer environment within the mining and construction industry and have experience of working with Top hammer application. 

It is a commercial role that requires a keen sense of business while also require an analytical and customer oriented mindset in combination with a practical understanding of our customers’ needs and challenges. You also need to have a financial understanding to interpret your financial scorecards into corrective actions. Having experience as a manager is a merit as you will be leading a small but experienced team of product specialists.

Since this role is global, we want you to be fluent in English. 

Location and travel
The preferred position is based in Fagersta, Sweden as our R&D department is based there, but depending on the candidate, we can consider other countries as well. As it is a global role we embrace flexible working hours and working from distance is also applicable to this role.

The role requires frequent global traveling to all continents.

Produktutvecklingsingenjör
Fagersta Stainless befinner sig i en expansiv fas och företaget rustar nu upp för en spännande framtid. Vi söker nu en produktutvecklingsingenjör som ska stötta marknadsavdelningen med tekniskt stöd i syfte att tillgodose kundernas tekniska krav och bidra till att utveckla interna produktionsprocesser som möter kundens krav. Tjänsten är placerad i Fagersta och som produktutvecklingsingenjör rapporterar du direkt till teknisk chef.

Huvudsakliga ansvarsområden

Tekniskt stöd till marknadsavdelningen och kund
Delta vid kund- och leverantörskontakter
Ta fram produktblad och teknisk information till kund
Koordinera arbetet och utvecklingsprojekt mellan marknad, logistik, processutveckling och produktion
Utveckla processen för att möta kundens krav
Ansvara eller medverka för process- och produktionstekniskt utvecklingsarbete
Stötta i reklamationshantering
Driva projekt inom förbättringsarbete, provorder- och avvikelsehantering samt investeringar





Vi söker dig

För denna tjänst söker vi efter dig som har en teknisk utbildning på högskole- eller universitetsnivå inom exempelvis metallurgi, kemi eller maskinteknik. Har du dessutom några års erfarenhet från arbete med produktion- eller processutveckling och kanske även projektarbete ses det som meriterande.

Som person är det viktigt att du är bekväm med att jobba självständigt, att du har förmågan att driva ditt arbete framåt genom att etablera kontaktytor och aktivt söka den information som krävs för uppgiften. Du har således en god förmåga att samarbeta och kommunicera med både kollegor, leverantörer och kunder samt agera lyhört i situationer som kräver det. I grunden är du noggrann och analytisk i ditt arbetssätt, förstår vikten av dokumentation och uppskattar faktabaserad problemlösning.

Tjänsten passar dig som trivs i en roll med varierande arbetsuppgifter där du får stor frihet i hur du väljer att lägga upp ditt arbete. Du trivs med att arbeta både med det teoretiska och det praktiskt, i alla delar av processen. Då resor ingår i tjänsten bör det även vara något du uppskattar. Du behärskar svenska och engelska obehindrat.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Som produktionsutvecklare kommer du arbeta med alla delar som ingår i tillverkning och provning av industriella ventiler. Ventilerna monteras med maskinbearbetade detaljer från underleverantörer där toleranser, ytfinhet och materialegenskaper är viktiga. Arbetet innebär daglig kontakt med leverantörer och du hanterar tekniska frågeställningar samt genomför kvalitetsuppföljningar. Administration av ritningar och andra kvalitetsdokument förekommer dagligen. Att aktivt delta vid montage och provning när behov uppstår är en självklarhet. Du ansvarar för att identifiera och genomföra förbättringar i produktionen och även vara drivande i konstruktionsförändringar själv eller i projektform med ett produktionstänk.

Resor till Stockholm förekommer i tjänsten.

Tjänsten som produktionsutvecklare är en tillsvidareanställning hos Ramén Valves med tillsättning snarast möjligt. Tjänsten är placerad i Fagersta.


Din profil
Vi söker dig som har tidigare erfarenhet från montage/produktionsmiljö med produktionsplanering i SAP, Monitor, Pyramid eller liknande. För att klara av uppdraget bör du kunna läsa och tolka ritningar på mekaniska detaljer och även vara bekväm i att sätta sig in i och applicera lagar och föreskrifter som är verksamhetskritiskt. Du är inte rädd för att ha många olika kontaktytor och trivs i en miljö med högt tempo.

Vidare ser vi gärna att du är målinriktad, utåtriktad och trivs att få arbeta metodiskt. Du har ett stort teknikintresse och gillar att lösa problem där digitalisering av rutiner och arbetsmoment ingår. Att driva företaget framåt genom olika förändringsprocesser är en självklarhet för dig och du har inga problem med att arbeta självständigt. Arbetet kräver att du talar och skriver svenska och engelska obehindrat, andra språk är meriterande.

Du besitter god datavana med MS Office, och har du kunskaper inom CAD verktyg är det meriterande.

Your mission
In this position, you’re part of the Digital Product Services team and have responsibility for supporting the services related to our product portfolio. The location of this position is flexible within Sweden, though presence in Fagersta is required on a regular basis.

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a relevant design background, a good understanding of IT and a doer’s attitude. You might have been working with industrial product design, UX-design or interaction design, although the important thing is that you know how different systems talk to each other. Your skills can come from actual experience or as a newly graduate within studies like Engineering, Commercial Economics, Digital Marketing or similar. Working with a 360 view, you see the bigger picture and have a proactive and positive approach towards solving problems; using creativity to find new possibilities and suggestions. You’re also a true team player, ready to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever needed. Since we’re truly a global organization, you’re fluent in both written and verbal English.
