About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for identifying, developing and evaluating new product ideas, enhancing existing products, and translating research discoveries into marketable products. You play a crucial role in leading, planning and tracking all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to market introduction. To ensure that our products’ specifications, options and pricing are aligned with market demands, you use competitor analysis and strategic oversight of all products in the portfolio. You work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and communicate the customer value proposition, while maintaining the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle. Additionally, you initiate, define requirements, and sponsor new product development initiatives.
The team is spread globally and for this position we offer a flexible workplace, however it’s preferred that you’re based in Europe.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. Through your previous work you’ve acquired a business knowledge of best practices and an understanding of metal cutting and its technology, business, and customers. You also have knowledge of how the products integrate with others, as well as of their competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. Your mission
As a business development manager, you have an important role a to follow up, support and communicate the GCR contracts and RDT agreements. Evaluate current RDT agreement financial and operational performance and support low performing Customer centers creating improvement plans. The role is broad, and you will have a lot of opportunities to work on different projects and develop and support different areas within Epiroc.

Your profile
For this role we are searching for a candidate that have minimum 5 years of experience from international marketing in the mining industry. You have a university degree, preferably in business or engineering or have acquired similar competence through work experience.
Good knowledge of English, verbally and in writing communication skills is essential. It’s meritorious if you have good knowledge of Swedish verbally and in writing communication.
For this role it’s a plus if you have a good understanding of RDT Agreement setups and experience from RDT Agreement operations.
We are looking for a dynamic and result oriented person with strong customer focus. You have high communication skill and personal drive, works proactively, and have a good analytical skill. On top of this you have a positive attitude, and you firmly believe that there is always a better way!

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro or Fagersta. In this role you will travel between 80-100 days per year.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Som produktchef kommer du ha det övergripande ansvaret för företagets produkter. Det innebär att du ansvarar tekniskt och kommersiellt gällande företagets egenproducerade ventiler, agenturprodukter och tillbehör. Som produktchef är du en del av försäljning och marknad och länken till vår produktion och leverantörer av agenturprodukter.

I tjänsten kommer du ansvara för presentation och tekniskt innehåll i företagets e-handel och digitala kommunikation. Du upprätthåller produkternas tekniska specifikation i olika medier och stödjer marknad/försäljning med applikationskunskap och annan kundrelaterad information runt produkternas användning.

Du kommer arbeta nära kunder och leverantörer för att utfärda offerter enligt kundens kravbild och samtala/förhandla med leverantörer i det dagliga arbetet. Att inhämta information om användning av produkter och skapande av applikationsdokumentation samt förmedla den digitalt är en viktig del.

Tjänsten innefattar externa kontaktytor, i form av upprätthållande av relationer med leverantörer och genomföra förhandlingar av kommersiella avtal. Du kommer ha ett nära samarbete med marknads- och försäljningsavdelningen, där ni tillsammans kommer implementera och utveckla försäljningsstrategier för produkter samt agera som ett tekniskt stöd.



Din profil

Briefly about the job
In this position, you’ll act in close collaboration with our sales teams, IT, product managers and customers to enhance, maintain and build improvements for our product data services. You describe and prioritize improvements, changes and bug fixes. Being responsible for the backlog of product data services, you explore product data needs and translate customer requirements to existing solutions or develop new ones, and you support with the implementation of our product data services at external partners and software's. To ensure our continuous success, you also support various projects to capture improvements and requirements related to product data services.

Job description
You will take on the mission as being CEO of the product line, meaning you take full responsibility of the profit and loss scorecard ranging from overall revenue to the operating profit to ensure a sustainable profitable growth of the product line. As part of achieving that, you will be responsible of the strategic product roadmap for the whole DTH product portfolio where you determine what products should be introduced to the portfolio, improved or discontinued and phased out.

This is a global role where you will collaborate with all markets through the customer centers to fully understand our customers’ needs and translate that need into innovative products to further build and increase our market share.
In addition to spending your time with our customer centers and customers, you will work with all other internal functions such as R&D, production and supply chain in order to be successful in reaching your mission.

You will be responsible of making the strategic product road map of the product line so the company have full understanding of what we need to achieve in coming years in terms of new products while also working on a more short-term perspective solving existing challenges through sustaining activities of our existing products.

You will lead a global team of product specialists that reports to you where you together support and solve technical challenges in the field, conduct product training's, analyze claims and conduct field trials of new products that is in development.

In this position you will report to the Global Product Portfolio Manager of Rock Drilling Tools and work in an organization with several Global Product Managers of other product lines where we will learn from each other through sharing best practices and help each other as a team. You will work with a manager that embraces freedom with accountability and you will feel empowered to take own decisions to favor our overall efficiencies while also getting support and exchange ideas with when needed.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have experience of the applications and products, meaning you should have worked in a customer environment within the mining and construction industry and have experience of working with Down The Hole application. Having a university degree within mining and civil engineering along with a financial degree or similar is a merit.

It is a commercial role that requires a keen sense of business while also require an analytical mindset in combination with a practical understanding of our customers needs and challenges. Having experience as a manager is a merit as you will be leading an experienced team of product specialists, making the most out of your team is critical to be successful in meeting your overall mission. You need to have a great financial understanding to interpret your financial scorecards into corrective actions.

Successful behaviors for this position is to have a customer oriented mindset where you want to be as service minded as possible, while at the same time you need to put high expectations on the cross-functional colleagues of what is needed from them in order to meet your mission.

As the role is wide with many contact areas and you will handle a large portfolio, being structured and organized will be very beneficial in order to manage all ongoing activities in a successful way.
You understand the value of time and having a quick time to market approach mindset is very important where you constantly challenge this in all things we do.

Location and travel
The preferred position is based in Fagersta, Sweden as our R&D department is based there, but depending on the candidate, we can consider other countries as well. As it is a global role we embrace flexible working hours and working from distance is also applicable to this role.

Job description:

- Identify, develop and implement the business strategy at the Product Company together with the Product Line Manager to reach & exceed targets and goals.
- Use business intelligence software to determine how your products are performing and make necessary actions accordingly.
- Make business cases for new product opportunities.
- Make and execute phase-in and phase-out programs for products within your segment.
- Provide continuous marketing support to Customer Centers & Distributors / Dealers.
- Analyze business developments, monitor market trends and competitor activities within your segment.
- Support Epiroc Customer Centers in major tenders and training of new and existing products with focus on what added value it will bring to our customers.
- The job requires extensive international traveling.


Experience requirements:
We are looking for a person with the following profile;
International rock drilling experience from the mining and construction industry with a proven track record of having developed and executed successful strategies. You have good understand of financial data and how to measure the performance of your products. A merit is to have in addition a university degree in mine engineering or business administration. Excellent command of English (verbally and writing) is required and knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Personality requirements:
As the position requires you to handle many stakeholders and products you must be structured and organized as a person. You should have an analytical mindset and strong communication skills. Customer oriented attitude and being long term sustainable oriented. You are driven by progress and understand that time is our most valuable resource.
