Your mission
•    Support the development and implementation of the EMCA regions export control and sanctions compliance program.
•    Ensure compliance with all international trade laws, regulations, and policies.
•    Provide guidance and expert support to colleagues in export control and sanctions-related matters including license management, classification, transaction review and screening.
•    Be involved in training and communication activities to relevant business stakeholders.
•    Be involved in investigations and reporting related to potential violations.
•    Collaborate with colleagues world-wide and throughout the Group to ensure alignment.
•    Manage effective data analytics, metrics, and reporting structures to support transparency of EMCAs compliance program. 

Location and travel
The location for the role is Fagersta or hybrid and connected to any Epiroc office in Sweden. Occasional travel is required.

All Epiroc Group business units must conduct business in compliance with all Customs requirements and regulations related to respective business unit. Therefor we now seek a local Customs and Compliance Manager for Epiroc Drilling Tools AB.
The mission for this position is to ensure that trade rules, regulations, and customs compliance requirements is followed in the daily import and export processes in and out of Epiroc Drilling Tools.

About the position
In this position, you will perform on a daily basis on import and export operations in compliance with all applicable trade law and regulations. You will adopt and implement Epiroc group policies and procedures to a local level. This position requires to monitor national changes in trade regulations and to ensure proper record keeping in accordance with national laws and regulations. Further, this also include to be in charge of local Broker management to control correct classification of all items being imported are in compliance with EU and local country customs regulations.
As a Customs and Compliance Manager, you will ensure that Epiroc Drilling Tools is using Free Trade Agreements in a compliant and optimized way and perform transaction screenings of local business partners for the local company’s transactions (customers, suppliers, forwarders). Futher, you will create awareness locally of trade compliance risks and opportunities and be the contact person towards local Customs Authorities for audits and internal coordination.
In this position, you will report to Regional Transportation Manager.

Requirements
We believe that you will have 5-10 years of experience within the field of Customs & Trade Compliance and have experience in international trade. You need to have a strong understanding of export and import procedures, applicable laws and regulations, HS code classification, Free Trade Agreements and sanctions and strong English and Swedish communication skill both verbal and written.
