Your Mission
As a Market Analyst, you strengthen Epiroc’s pricing performance across your region. You analyze market and pricing trends, lead improvement initiatives, and support Customer Centers in developing competitive and profitable pricing strategies. You act as the link between central and local pricing functions and ensure a continuous flow of market intelligence.



Key Responsibilities


Monitor price trends, currency effects, and market developments that impact profitability.



Lead pricing improvement activities with divisional and local stakeholders.



Collect and analyze competitor data and market insights.



Drive change management to improve pricing compliance and performance.



Support Customer Centers with training, tools, and guidance on pricing processes.



Lead regional pricing forums and ensure effective information sharing.



Communicate strategic price differentiation and relevant pricing insights.



Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Pricing teams, and Business Development.



Domestic and international travel may be required.

Mission
As TLD Operations and R&D Analyst, you will report to the TLD Vice President controlling and Finance. It is your mission to actively support the TLD Vice President Operations and TLD Vice President R&D as well as to ensure sound, on-time financial reporting and providing information to allow pro-active follow-up of the division's Operations and R&D results and performance.  The Tools and Attachments Division (TLD) has 16 product companies on 5 continents, 2 distribution centres as well as Research and Development (R&D) activities close to these operations. Operational efficiency and new product development is a key to a successful implementation of our strategy. In order to provide excellent financial support to operations and R&D we are looking for a dedicated analyst.
Some of the main tasks for this position will be to support operations and R&D in Following up, analysis and consolidation of the divisional operations results reported in the Epiroc Consolidated System (ECS) by the operational entities. Quarterly PK bridge reporting and respective follow-up and presentation to VP Controlling and Finance and VP Operations. Forecasting monthly, quarterly, annually and 3-year planning process of the operational entities.
You will actively support the VP Controlling and Finance, VP Operations and VP R&D with preparation of analytical reports and effective presentation of data and scorecards. Drive the alignment of processes, procedures, and key performance indicators in our division and continuously review and develop the divisional operations reporting processes and analysis to ensure control and maximum efficiency.

Your profile
We believe that you have a university degree in business administration, with a solid base education in areas of accounting, internal control, cost accounting, finance and economics.You should also have minimum 5 years of post-graduate work experience in finance and business controller positions. International experience, either from living or from working abroad, is considered a plus.
In addition to the qualified professional knowledge for the position, the successful candidate should preferably have experience and understanding of product companies, a strong customer orientation and a keen interest to broaden the scope of your capacity. An excellent understanding of MS Office, in particular Excel, is required. If you have experience working in systems like ECS (Epiroc Consolidated System) or M3 it’s a big plus. Fluent English skills, oral and written is necessary.
Deadlines in this position are important, so unusual work-hours are sometimes unavoidable. You are also expected to be an effective team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Global Pricing Manager
The mission for this position is to develop and implement pricing strategies for spare parts and tools and attachments in global and local markets in all sales channels to achieve optimized profitability for the company. Enable efficient pricing processes and systems throughout the organization and secure competitiveness through continuous market research. Tasks and responsibilities
* Identify and act on business opportunities to differentiate and enhance pricing strategies and value propositions for markets, customer segments, products and acquired businesses.
* Lead and direct strategic pricing activities and projects safeguarding and enhancing consistency, sustainability and consolidated profitability.
* Prioritize and translate business targets and requirements into pricing policy, process and system requirements throughout the complete pricing organization.
* Continuously improve and develop the price management application used to facilitate efficient global and local processes. Fully implement support model ensure stability and availability of the price management application to all relevant stakeholders.
* Work closely with customer centers to safeguard price adjustment implementation per divisional instructions and follow up on the same.
* Align spare parts, attachments and rock drilling tools pricing with relevant strategies in the Capital Equipment divisions.
* Analyze and take appropriate actions on price trend, currency effect and market trends affecting the profitability and competitiveness of spare parts pricing.
* Fully understand cost development and internal value creation activities through close collaboration mainly with the Controlling, Sourcing, Supply Chain and Marketing functions.
* Facilitate efficient collaboration with Customer Centers and other sales channels relating to parts pricing and relevant processes. This includes, but is not limited to, compliance with recommended price levels, routines, processes and having continuous flow and usage of market intelligence.
* Manage compliance with the transfer pricing policy as defined by OECD; maintaining local operating profitability levels in line with company targets and objectives.
* Analyze relevant facts and information to simulate, administer and communicate price revision.
* Engage, motivate and coach to create lasting results with a positive customer oriented attitude.
* Work proactively to attract, develop and retain key talents to maximize business performance and results by having right people in the right roles with the right competence.
Secure accurate master data for price consistency.

In this position you will have manager/team leader responsibility.

You will report operationally to RDT Vice President Marketing Tools and administratively to PSD Vice President Marketing  and RDT Vice President Marketing Tools.

Formal knowledge and experience required

About the Position
Epiroc Drilling Tools AB is now looking for a Market Analyst to the Marketing Support Department. The main responsibilities is to secure and increase quality of consumables pricing. Further responsibilities is also to gather market intelligence and incorporate this into our consumables pricing model for local, regional and global pricing. Also included is to support and train our Customer Centers in value based pricing.
In this position your mission will be to accelerate sales growth, profitability and increase market and customer share by consistent pricing logic based on customer value. It is also a mission to provide best in class service, support and professional material within all pricing discussions to both RDT marketing team as well as Customer Centers. One aim is to create and utilize market intelligence regarding factors that influence local, regional and global market price levels and competitor activities for making more strategic price decisions.
You will work close to Marketing and Customer Centers for input and decision making to assure we reach our divisional targets and goals.

Requirement
To be successful in this position you need to have excellent communication skills, have an aptitude to work with people in a supportive service minded environment and as an ability to coordinating activities and reach targets. You have a good ability to work with huge amount of data and provide well based pricing proposals. You have strong analytical skills and a solid interest and understanding of market conditions affecting price levels locally and globally.

Once the total available market and prioritizing is completed you will also define business models that can be used to approach the defined market with the given product.
Job description
To successfully reach the mission explained above you will work on a global basis and interact with many stakeholders. Internal stakeholders will be product managers in marketing, R&D, customer center representatives and cross-divisional with other marketing functions. You will also interact with our customers that is the end users of the product. Global traveling is a part of the role.
You will also gather, compile and analyze data by using global databases to understand the total available market. To understand the added value of the product you will work with value proposition models for different segments and customer profiles for the given product. To understand the business model you will review financial data of existing models, analyze new models by business canvas modeling and understand what impact a certain business model would have for the company.
